The belt filter press is widely used for dewatering sludge, sludge and slurries from various industries including:

Main features and advantages of belt filter presses
Energy efficiency and low consumption of flocculant. Belt filter press is characterized by low energy consumption and flocculant consumption. A wide range of power and capacity models allows to choose the optimal equipment for each project.
High degree of dewatering. In belt filter presses, a high degree of dewatering is achieved by the use of successive pressure rollers of different diameters in the squeezing zone. The dewatered sludge from sewage treatment plants after the filter press reaches a residual moisture content of 72-80% with an average flocculant dosage of 2-3.5 kg/t DS of sludge.
Performance and compactness. In order to reduce the hydraulic load on the filter press and increase its productivity, mechanical dewatering systems can be supplied with a thickener. Belt thickeners can be used both as a separate unit for thickening of sludge to 92-97% moisture content, and can be installed above the belt filter press to increase the hydraulic capacity of the complex.
Main features and advantages of belt filter presses
Reliability and durability. The main construction materials used for belt filter presses are stainless steel of AISI 304 or AISI 316 grades with additional treatment by pickling and passivation. Shafts are made of high-strength carbon steel with a significant safety margin and are coated (laminated) with wear-resistant RILSAN plastic. Produced filter presses are equipped with high quality electric motors, bearings, sensors and control system elements from well-known and reliable suppliers.
Low noise and vibration level. Highly environmentally friendly design of the equipment ensures generation of low noise and vibration levels. The belt filter press can be equipped with protective covers with flanges for connection to exhaust ventilation to prevent the spread of odors.
Ease of operation and maintenance. The use of high quality components and time-tested technical solutions ensures a long service life of the equipment and minimizes the need for maintenance. The belt filter press design allows visual control of the dewatering process, is convenient for preventive maintenance and replacement of wear parts. The main working units are easily accessible and their maintenance is performed using standard tools.
Continuous operation in automatic mode. The intelligent pneumatic belt control system allows the equipment to operate in continuous mode while increasing the life of belts and pneumatic units. The control system enables the mechanical sludge dewatering complex to operate in both manual and automatic modes. Setting of parameters and modes of operation is intuitive and easy.
