Sand washing plant is a high-efficiency equipment for washing sand and sand pulp from organic contaminants.
The scope of application of sand washing plant is:
washing and dewatering of sandpulp after horizontal or aerated sand traps;
treatment of partially dewatered (dry or wet) sand, e.g. after M-Combi plants;
treatment and dewatering of surface runoff water from highway cleaning;
separation and dewatering of sand pellets after snowmelt plants;
treatment and dewatering of sand pulp from hydraulic transport systems of food and processing industry enterprises.
FINAL PRODUCT - washed and dewatered sand, washing water and periodically drained liquid layer of organic contaminants.

Sand washing units are made of corrosion resistant steel AISI 304 or AISI 316.
The screw mechanism uses wear-resistant guides made of Hardox steel, a material with high resistance to abrasive abrasion. As a rule, it is used for products and structures subject to wear, which significantly extends the service life of products.
The axial screw conveyor is made of high-strength steel.
Anticorrosion treatment in the form of volume etching and passivation by special means.

Sand washing plants are made of corrosion-resistant steel and polymeric materials. The size of the equipment is selected depending on the required throughput capacity and properties of the slurry to be processed. The data for selection of the equipment are specified by the customer or the project organization in the questionnaire.

Are there any options for equipment protection in case of operation in unfavorable climatic or other conditions?
We can offer a higher degree of protection for electrical equipment - above IP55. It is possible to design the equipment in explosion-proof version.
Is it possible to use the equipment outside an existing or specially prepared room?
As an option, sand washing plants can be manufactured in an outdoor version.
