Description
Radial Suction Scraper ensures the most efficient collection of activated sludge from the bottom of the secondary sedimentation tank. The result is a real improvement in the quality and reliability of the wastewater treatment plant.
Technology without compromise
The operating model and performance of the sludge collector is adjustable over a wide range, well beyond the nominal parameters. To ensure uniform sludge collection over the entire radius of the settling tank, each sucker is equipped with adjusting diaphragms.
The speed of rotation of the sludge sucker is regulated by the built-in automation system, which allows you to choose the optimal mode of operation of the sucker.
Advantages of Radial Suction Scraper
The design of sludge suckers is based on calculations of mathematical models of hydrodynamics of radial sumps.
The control system of the slurry tanker provides the possibility of changing the parameters of the equipment operation to ensure the most efficient modes of its work, as well as protection of all major devices from overloads.
The sludge collectors are equipped with a height-adjustable deflector, which is designed to direct the flow so that the capacity of the sump bowl is used as efficiently as possible.
Central and peripheral additional scrapers transport sludge to the outermost suckers and draw sludge from areas where the sucker cannot capture the sludge mixture.
The petal gland of the rotary chamber provides an adequate seal at the interface between the rotary chamber and the base.
All suckers are placed on the same shoulder. This minimizes sludge agitation during the rotation of the sludge collector.
It is possible to integrate the equipment into a top level automation system (SCADA) and to measure the thickness of the sludge layer.
Clean bottom effect:
The special design of the suckers of the sludge sucker allows to compensate for the unevenness of the bottom of the sump in the range of up to 70 mm;
The IRVO suckers have a special, patented design - no bottom plane. This eliminates sludge deposits;
The sucker contact with the bottom is provided by special elements made of reinforced rubber.
The suckers do not wear themselves out and do not abrade the concrete bottom of the tank;
The "clean bottom" effect avoids such negative phenomena as rotting of silt accumulating in hard-to-reach places, as well as floating and removal of suspended solids.
How is ease of use achieved?
The ergonomic design of the bridge ensures easy access and maintenance of the sludge collector components.
The sludge collector bridge is the main support structure for both the sludge intake pipe and other auxiliary equipment.
The slurry tanker is supplied complete with a central support structure consisting of a base, pivoting support, cylinder and stilling device. Thus, the design of the IRVO is universal for installation in various concrete tanks.
The pivoting support is made with the use of polyamide sliding bearing, which ensures reliable operation of this unit. At the same time it does not require constant maintenance.
The collector of the sludge collector is equipped with a gas drainage tube, which makes it possible to fully utilize the cross-sectional area of the sludge drainage pipe for sludge removal and prevents the formation of gas "pockets".
The equipment is equipped with anti-slip devices for the peripheral drive in the form of a scraper and a brush track cleaner.
The sludge collectors are equipped with a device for cleaning the tray edge. The automatic brush serves both single-sided and double-sided overflow trays. The stiffness of the brush is selected so as to achieve the removal of biofilm from the trays with the longest possible service life.
