Chain Scraper EKOTON-PROBIG

The chain scrapers are used to grit removal from the grit chambers. It is mounted in horizontal grit chambers. It can be produced in 2, 3 or 4-shaft performance.

Description of the Chain Scrapers

Chain scrapers are manufactured from high-tech plastics which are designed for use in areas where wet sludge and aggressive chemicals are present. Intended for rectangular tanks up to a maximum of 140 m in length and 14 m in width.

Operating principle of Chain Scraper Esmil Probig

4-shaft scraper (collecting bottom and floating sludge)

Chain-and-flight scrapers convey the bottom sludge into a hopper and the floating sludge into the scum pipe.

3-shaft scraper (collecting bottom sludge)

Chain-and-flight scrapers convey the bottom sludge into a hopper.

2-shaft scraper (collecting floating materials)

The floating materials are pushed using a chain-and-flight scraper over a ramp into the scum collecting channel.
